RIN is the abbreviated form of Research INterface, which is a nonprofit organization for making an interface between graduate and undergraduate folks in Bangladesh with the graduate students studying abroad to provide a flavor of world class research.

We feel that lots of students in Bangladesh have excellent potential for conducting world class research if provided with proper guidance. We have seen some excellent performances by the students from Bangladesh in different international competitions. There are also examples of self-motivated students who work hard to keep pace with the state-of-the-art research. However, we feel that many students, especially during the course of their undergraduate research do not perform well just because of the lack of proper guidance. We have to admit that, lots of universities in Bangladesh do not have enough faculty members to guide all the students properly. Another problem is the lack of exposure to the state-of-the-art research which is very important for conducting research.

We feel that, thousands of graduate students who are studying in different reputed universities and conducting world class research, have a very good exposure to different exciting fields. Many of them are the prospective faculty members of near future in different renowned universities, while many of them will work in the R&D sectors of different reputed companies. We believe, they have capabilities to guide a group of students to conduct research in a more organized way.

RIN wants to take the first step into that endeavor. We feel that we have greater responsibilities towards our society and our country. The best way to uplift a country is by creating knowledge for itself, which is only possible by research.
